PESHAWAR: Heavy fog resulted temporary closure of Peshawar M-1 Motorway from Peshawar to Rashakai toll plaza.
Motorway Police said that this decision has been taken to prevent accidents and protect the lives and property of passengers. Motorway Police have requested citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during foggy hours and try to complete their journey in daylight so that they can reach their destination before the onset of fog.
In addition, emphasizing the importance of using fog lights in vehicles, the Motorway Police have urged people to avoid speeding and maintain a proper distance from the vehicle in front. According to the spokesperson, the latest information can be obtained from the Motorway Police helpline 130 or their official social media accounts to get information before traveling.
