ISLAMABAD: Former Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri expressed concern over recent clashes with Afghanistan and said that he is not happy with this situation, as it will only appease the enemy.
Talking to the media, he added that India will be happy with daily disputes with Afghanistan and will find a way in the middle to take advantage. He said that India wants the Pak-Afghan conflict to be so bitter that it can take advantage. He said that our officers and soldiers are being martyred. How long will Pakistan tolerate it?
He suggested that Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can play a role in the Pak-Afghan conflict. He said that Afghanistan was Pakistan’s neighboring country, and it is not in the interest of both countries to fight with each other.
