MANSEHRA: Renowned trekker and tourism vlogger Inayat Gulzar went missing on January 22 in Jirga Dab, Machi Sar, located at the junction of Ogi and Torghar. After a three-day search, locals and a team from Rescue Service 1122 Mansehra found his body and shifted it to Ogi.
According to the Rescue 1122, Inayat Gulzar’s body was found on Sunday, who had been missing for the last three days while trekking in the mountains.
His funeral prayers will be offered today at 8 pm in the mosque of Maluga village.
His friend posted on his Facebook, stating, with deep sorrow, we announce that Anayat Khan is no longer with us.
A resident of Oghi, Mansehra (KPK), he lost his life during an adventurous and discovery visit to the highest peak of Kala Dhaka – Machi Sar Top on 23 January 2026. While attempting the summit, he was caught in a severe snowstorm, where extreme weather conditions and temperatures dropping to –15°C proved fatal.
After days of search and hardship, his body was recovered today by the Rescue 1122 team. His bravery, passion for adventure, and love for nature will always be remembered.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength and patience to his family and loved ones.
