PESHAWAR: The district administrations in Peshawar and Charsadda have ordered the closure of CNG stations in both districts for three days due to gas shortage.

According to the administration, the Deputy Commissioners of Charsadda and Peshawar have imposed Section 144 and ordered the closure of all CNG stations located in the neighbouring districts.

The decision was made due to a significant gas shortage for domestic use. According to the order, the ban will take effect on March 21, 2026, and legal action will be taken against anyone who violates it. Officials explain that this decision aims to ensure a continuous supply of gas to domestic consumers.
