PESHAWAR: While responding to the attention note submitted by the member of the provincial assembly, Amna Sardar, the elementary and secondary education minister, Faisal Khan Tarakai, said that more funds are being released for the construction of schools.

Amna Sardar, a member of the Provincial Assembly, presented a notice of attention regarding the Department of Primary and Secondary Education.

Provincial Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai shared his insights, noting that the cost of constructing a new school is estimated at Rs 37.95 million, with most of the work already completed. He mentioned that Rs 4 million will be released this time for the project’s continuation.

The construction of new schools is underway not only in Abbottabad but also in other districts. Tarakai stated that, following the orders of the Chief Minister, efforts will be made to complete these projects as soon as possible.
