ISLAMABAD: The district administration has announced that, following the Christmas public holiday on December 25, December 26 will also be a public holiday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf has issued a formal notification regarding this matter.
According to the notification, December 26 will be a holiday in observance of the arrival of a high-level foreign delegation. However, this holiday does not apply to the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), the Capital Development Authority (CDA), police forces, and government hospitals.
The district administration has provided copies of the notification to all relevant departments. It is important to note that Thursday, December 25, will be a public holiday nationwide in celebration of Christmas.
