ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to maintain the prices of petrol and increase the price of diesel for the next 15 days.
The Finance Ministry has revealed that petrol prices have been maintained and diesel prices have been increased by Rs 6 per liter.
According to the official notification, the new prices are Rs. 265.45 per liter for petrol and Rs. 284.44 per liter for diesel.
These price increments came into force from the very start of the day.
The authorities have advertised that these prices would be kept for the coming 15 days only, after which a look will be taken to decide if any new changes will be made.

Earlier, on November 1st, the federal government decided to increase the prices of petrol and diesel for the next 15 days.
The Finance Ministry has revealed that petrol prices have been increased by Rs. 2.43 per liter and diesel prices have been increased by Rs. 3.02 per liter.
According to the official notification, the new prices are Rs. 265.45 per liter for petrol and Rs. 278.44 per liter for diesel. These price increments came into force from the very start of the day.
The authorities have advertised that these prices would be kept for the coming 15 days only, after which a look will be taken to decide if any new changes will be made.
