PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has announced that full security and all necessary facilities will be provided to Chief Minister Sohail Afridi during his visit to Sindh.

Talking to the media, the governor said that the Chief Minister of Sindh has already extended a formal invitation to Sohail Afridi and will host him personally. He further stated that the Sindh authorities are very much ready for the hospitality and the safety arrangements.

Kundi did not mince words while attacking the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claiming the party could not build a national stadium in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during its 13-year rule. He also remarked that PTI has failed to find consensus on opposition leaders in the National Assembly and Senate calling the party’s policies ambiguous and perplexing.

Kundi while talking about national problems, remarked that those who incite unrest cannot be the ones who are advocating for dialogue. He mentioned that global newspapers are writing in favorem of Pakistan’s leadership and that the foreign investors are interested in trading in this country.

The governor did not stop here, he declared that if there is accountability in the military, it should hold for the rest of the institutions too. He blamed the “chaos elements” for the law and order situation and asserted that the Afghan nationals are frequently caught involved in terrorist activities.

The governor also stated that Kundi that the Pakistan state would not tolerate such people who do not accept Pakistan and its Constitution and would continue fighting them, at the same time assuring that the government’s top priority was peace and stability.
