Google, the world’s leading technology company, has introduced important changes to its app, Google Maps. With these updates, users can now obtain route and traffic details using only their voice.

According to technology websites, Google has transformed Maps from a traditional navigation tool into a smart assistant that aids users with various tasks during their journeys. With the new features, you can easily find the nearest hospital, petrol station, or parking space just by speaking, without needing to hold your phone. Simply issue a command, and Google will promptly display the desired location.

The method of providing directions has also been improved. Now, instructions will refer to well-known landmarks or buildings, making it much easier to navigate new or complex routes. Additionally, if there is a traffic jam, road closure, or accident during your trip, you can report it using voice commands. Google Maps will then inform other drivers in a timely manner.

The main benefits of this update include eliminating the need to hold a mobile phone while driving, enhancing travel safety, simplifying navigation in unfamiliar areas, and improving route planning based on the latest traffic information.

However, there are also concerns regarding the reliance on Google Maps, which some users find to be dangerous. In India and other countries, several accidents have occurred due to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the app, leading to complications for users.
