ISLAMABAD: Google’s artificial intelligence chatbot, Gemini, has crossed more than 750 million monthly users, according to figures released by the company.

The figures were disclosed in Google’s latest quarterly earnings report and demonstrate how rapidly the number of users for the AI service is growing.

In October of 2025, Google announced that Gemini had acquired a user base of 650 million users every month during the third quarter of the same year. The user base expanded by a significant amount of 100 million in a mere three months.

More specifically, Meta AI reaches close to 500 million monthly active users of its services. Gemini experienced rapid growth but still maintained a distance from its main competitor ChatGPT, which reported approximately 810 million users who accessed its platform each month by December 2025.

Google published these statistics immediately after it introduced Gemini 3, which represents its most sophisticated artificial intelligence system to date. The company claims that Gemini 3 can perform tasks with a much deeper understanding and improved capabilities.

Google’s Chief Business Officer, Philipp Schindler, said the company is focusing on both free users and paid subscribers of Gemini and is seeing very positive results.

Important development made for citizen in Google maps

Google has added an advanced and powerful artificial intelligence feature to its popular navigation service Maps, which will work without touching the device.

This feature, based on Gemini AI, was first introduced in November 2025 to provide users with hands-free navigation while driving. Initially, this feature was available only for drivers, but now it has been expanded and can be used in various ways. Gemini for Maps has now been introduced for pedestrians and cyclists as well, making this conversational navigation assistant helpful in all types of travel. Google has stated in a blog post that this feature is being introduced globally in a phased manner.

Where the Gemini AI model is available, Google Maps users will be able to take advantage of this facility. However, this feature will not be available on the web version but will be limited to Android and iOS devices only.
