Khurshid Barlas, founder chairman of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, met with Pakistani High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider in Dhaka, who assured full cooperation in organizing the fourth ‘Made in Pakistan’ exhibition to be held in Dhaka.
During the meeting, Khurshid Barlas said that this exhibition is being organized to introduce Pakistani products in Bangladesh and promote business ties. He said that products from various sectors, including textiles, food products, household goods, footwear, tiles, jewelry, sports equipment, fashion, and tourism, were presented in the third Made in Pakistan exhibition held in Bangladesh last year, and Pakistani products received great acceptance in the local market.
The 4th Made in Pakistan Exhibition will be held from 6 to 10 October 2026 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka. Khurshid Barlas said that on this occasion, Pakistani women entrepreneurs can benefit from the developing textile industry of Bangladesh, while Bangladeshi women will be able to find new customers in Pakistan’s growing retail market.
Pakistani High Commissioner Imran Haider said that cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh is increasing in the fields of trade, investment, industry, energy, climate change, and information technology. He said that organizing exhibitions is very important to increase trade and explore new opportunities, and the government and the High Commissioner will provide full support in organizing the exhibition.
In the final stage, Khurshid Birlas, on behalf of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, presented all the documents regarding the exhibition to the Pakistani High Commissioner Imran Haider to ensure its successful holding.
