NADRA has crossed another milestone for citizens and made the process of vehicle ownership transfer completely digital through Pak ID application.
Now the buyer and seller will not need to visit offices for biometric verification, this facility will now be available in Peshawar as well. According to the announcement of NADRA and Islamabad Excise and Taxation Department, this facility has been provided through the “Pak ID” mobile application.
Users can now complete biometric verification from anywhere on their smartphone, whether they are inside the country or abroad. This initiative has also created great convenience for overseas Pakistanis as now they will be able to easily complete the process of transferring their vehicles without coming to Pakistan.
NADRA officials said that this initiative has been taken to promote citizen convenience, transparency and timely services under the digital vision.
