Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program Rubina Khalid, while giving great news to the users, said that from the next quarter, payments will be made under the new “Digital Wallet” system.
Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program Senator Rubina Khalid has announced that the old payment system is being abolished to bring transparency in the program, and from the next quarter, all payments will be made through the modern “Digital Wallet” system.
Talking to the media at Sheikh Zayed Hospital, the Chairperson expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident that took place in Rahim Yar Khan. She gave a check-out of Rs. 1 million to the families of the deceased women and Rs. 3 million to the injured women.
Senator Rubina Khalid clarified that the installment distributed in Rahim Yar Khan was the last payment under the old system. She said, “From now on, the method of distributing devices and money will be made completely transparent. Payment of money to women should be timely, keeping in mind their dignity and respect.”
Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program further said that through digital wallet, it will be possible to eliminate deductions and corruption. Modern banking solutions are being introduced to save women from long lines and inappropriate situations. Money will be transferred directly to the digital accounts of deserving women. The Chairperson reiterated the commitment that the government will take all possible steps to protect the rights of deserving women and no one will be allowed to misappropriate the money of the poor class.
