Students of Gomal University Campus in Tank recorded a protest in favor of their legitimate demands on the university premises.
The students raised slogans against the administration’s indifference and demanded immediate resolution of the issues. The protesters said that there is a severe shortage of permanent faculty in Tank Campus, due to which educational activities are being affected.
They demanded that a full faculty be immediately appointed in the campus so that the valuable time of the students is not wasted. The students further said that the facility of projectors is not available in the campus, due to which it is not possible to benefit from modern teaching methods. Similarly, serious concern was also expressed over the non-provision of necessary equipment for the zoology lab and demanded that immediate steps be taken to make the laboratory fully functional.
The protesting students said that the vehicles of Tank Campus, which are currently being used in Dera Ismail Khan, should be shifted back to Tank Campus so that students and staff can get facilities at the local level.
