KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday in line with an upward trend in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,700, reaching Rs390,300 in the local market. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold stood at Rs334,619, reflecting a gain of Rs1,458.

On Friday, the yellow metal had settled at Rs387,500 per tola, after recording a decline of Rs1,100.
