KARACHI: According to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs2,100 per tola, reaching Rs409,878.

The 10-gram rate stood at Rs351,404 after gaining Rs1,801.

On Friday, the yellow metal was priced at Rs407,778 per tola in the local market.

Globally, gold prices also advanced, climbing by $21 to $3,886 per ounce (including a $20 premium), APGJSA reported.

Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs57 per tola, settling at Rs4,896.
