An extraordinary decline has been seen in the price of gold across the country, where gold has become cheaper by Rs 24,300 per tola on Thursday.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, this decline is being described as the second biggest decline in history.

According to the latest data, the price of 24-karat gold per tola has decreased to Rs 499,462. Similarly, a significant decline has also been recorded in the price of silver, and silver has become cheaper by Rs 760 per tola.

On the other hand, a downward trend in gold prices is also being seen in the global market, where the price of gold per ounce has fallen by about two and a half per cent to $ 4,765. A 6 per cent decline has also been recorded in the price of silver globally.

According to experts, the fall in prices in the global market is also having an impact on the local market, which has led to a significant decline in the prices of gold and silver.
