Gold prices in Pakistan increased for the third consecutive day on Thursday as the precious metal climbed to a new all-time high in Pakistan and global markets.
As data about the gold prices surge provided by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by a massive Rs1,900, reaching Rs442,800 in the local market.
It said that the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold stood at Rs379,629, reflecting an increase of Rs1,629, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed to Rs348,005, showing a gain of Rs1,493.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $19, reaching $4,217 per ounce. The rise in global prices is attributed to renewed investor interest amid economic uncertainty and currency fluctuations.

According to the Pakistan Sarafa Market on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 1:00:57 PM, the current gold rates in Islamabad are as follows:
– The price for 24K gold is Rs. 452,680 per tola.
– The price for 24K gold per gram is Rs. 38,810.
– The price for 22K gold per gram is Rs. 35,573.
– The price for 21K gold per gram is Rs. 33,959.
These rates reflect the market conditions in Karachi as well.
