KARACHI: After a two-day straight rally in global and local gold markets in Pakistan, gold prices witnessed a major decline on Thursday.
According to the All Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan has fallen by Rs 11,000 to Rs 468,262, while the price of 10 grams of gold in the country has fallen by Rs 9,430 to Rs 401,459.
Similarly, the price of silver per tola has fallen by Rs 340 to Rs 7,484.
A significant decline in gold prices was also seen in the global market, where gold is trading at $ 4,455 per ounce after a drop of $ 110.
According to experts, fluctuations in gold prices are a warning for investors to be cautious, and the current market situation is being affected by the global economic situation, the value of the dollar and investment trends.
