KARACHI: Gold prices in both global and local markets experienced a significant increase today, bringing the new global price to $4,967 per ounce.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce rose by $117 on Saturday, bringing the new global price to $4,967 per ounce.
In the local bullion markets, on the last business day of the week, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs 11,700, resulting in a new price of Rs 519,462. Meanwhile, the price of gold per 10 grams also went up by Rs 10,030, now totaling Rs 445,354.
Additionally, the price of silver per tola in the country increased by Rs 444 to reach Rs 8,269, while the price of silver per 10 grams rose by Rs 381, bringing it to Rs 7,089.
