The price of gold in Peshawar was recorded 4,86,962 up to Friday morning as Rs 7,100 per tola, following a sustained rise in recent days that was influenced by ongoing fluctuations in the global market.

the price of gold recorded a major decline of Rs 7,100 per tola, after which the price of 24-karat gold fell to Rs 486,962. Earlier, on April 2, due to the boom in the global market, prices had increased by Rs 15,300, which took the price to over Rs 494,000. Today (April 3) the market is witnessing stability and prices are remaining around the previous day’s level.

The main reason for this fluctuation in gold prices is the global geopolitical tensions, especially the situation in the Middle East and the change in the value of the US dollar. Gold is currently trading between $ 4,642 and $ 4,700 per ounce in the global market.

The increase in demand due to the wedding season in the local market of Peshawar is also affecting prices. It should be noted that there may be slight differences in prices due to “making charges” in different cities and jewellers, so it is better to confirm with the nearest Sarafa Bazaar before purchasing.

Additionally, silver prices have also experienced a downward trend. The price of silver per tola has decreased by Rs 350, resulting in a new price of Rs 7,634.
