PESHAWARI: Gold prices remain stable till Monday morning, as on Sunday, the prices did not increase due to market closure at the international and national level.
According to the All Pakistan Jewellers Association, after an increase of Rs 3,400 in the price of gold in the local market, gold per tola has reached Rs 469,562 on Friday. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has also increased by Rs 2,915, after which the new price has been set at Rs 402,573.
According to the Jewellers Association, the price of gold in the global market has increased by $ 34 to $ 4,472 per ounce. On the other hand, a bearish trend was seen in the Pakistan Stock Exchange, with the Hundred Index closing at 184,659 after a decline of 883 points at the end of the business week.
At one point, the Hundred Index had even fallen by 922 points to 184,620. The Hundred Index increased by 637 points, while the index continued to trade at a level of 186,180 points.
