After a two-day increase, the price of gold dropped today, Wednesday, per tola in the local bullion market became cheaper by Rs 1,200 to reach Rs 466,762.

Decline was seen in the local and international markets of gold and silver today after a two-day rally. In the local bullion market, 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs 1,200 to reach Rs 466,762, while the price of ten grams of gold fell by Rs 1,028 to reach Rs 400,173.

According to the All Bullion Association, the price of gold has also decreased in the international market, and gold per ounce became cheaper by $ 12 to reach $ 4,444. On the other hand, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged today and remained at Rs 8,361.

According to financial experts, the decline in gold prices in the global market is due to the strengthening of the dollar and the impact of other investment alternatives. The decline in prices at the local level may provide temporary relief to investors and buyers.
