ISLAMABAD: The gold prices have decreased for the second consecutive day in both Pakistan and the international market after a constant and steady rise in prices.

According to the Gold Market Association, after a one-day pause, the price of 24-karat gold has dropped by Rs 1,100 per tola, bringing it down to Rs 387,500 in the local bullion market. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has declined by Rs 943, with the new price now at Rs 332,218.

In contrast, the price of silver has seen a slight increase. The price of silver per tola has risen by Rs 29, which brings it to Rs 4,447.

On a global scale, gold prices have also fallen, decreasing by $11 per ounce to $3,657.

The gold prices had broken all their previous records and were persistently rising upwards.
