KARACHI: Gold prices witnessed a decline in the local market on Saturday, while silver registered an upward trend, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The association said the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs700 to settle at Rs496,962.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs600, bringing it to Rs426,064 in local bullion markets.
In contrast, silver prices rose, with 24-karat silver per tola increasing by Rs50 to reach Rs8,064.
In the international market as well, gold prices showed a downward trend, with per-ounce gold declining by $7 to trade at $4,746.
