After a brief decline the previous day, gold and silver prices recorded a strong rebound in both local and international markets on Friday.
According to the All Pakistan Jewellers and Gems Association, in the domestic market, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs5,700 to reach Rs460,262, while the rate of 10 grams increased by Rs4,887 to Rs394,600.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $57, pushing the per ounce rate to $4,379.
Silver prices also witnessed an upward trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs227 to Rs7,862, while 10 grams rose by Rs195 to Rs6,740. In the global market, silver per ounce climbed to $73.87.
