Gold prices in Pakistan have seen a drop today as the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs1,200, bringing the new rate to Rs440,662, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,029, settling at Rs377,796. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also declined by Rs943 to be sold for Rs346,325. where, after a two-day break, gold and silver prices fell significantly on Wednesday.
According to analysts, the decline in gold prices in the global market has also led to a decline in the local market, and investors are closely monitoring this trend.
This change in gold and silver prices provides important clues for traders and investors, especially those who are looking to invest in gold in the short term.
Silver, however, saw an opposite trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs265, reaching Rs6,367, while 10 grams of silver hiked by Rs227 to be sold for Rs5,458.
On the global front, international silver went up by $2.65 to $60.95 per ounce.
