MANSEHRA: A German female tourist who lost her way in Naran was safely rescued by Mansehra Police after hours of hectic efforts.
According to reports, a group of seven German tourists arrived in Naran. Late last night, it was reported that a 66-year-old female member of the group, Mrs Caron Ann Malarkey, had lost her way while returning to her hotel after a hike.
Under the special instructions of DPO Mansehra Shafiullah Gandapur, the Naran Police quickly initiated a search operation. They formed two teams and dispatched them along different routes. After approximately six hours of relentless searching, the female tourist was located and safely returned to her hotel.
DPO Mansehra Shafiullah Gandapur stated that tourists are a valuable asset, and the Mansehra Police are always ready to serve and ensure the safety of both domestic and foreign visitors. He emphasised that providing guests with a peaceful environment in the beautiful Naran Valley is their top priority.
Furthermore, DIG Hazara Nasir Mahmood Satti commended all the teams involved in the rescue operation and praised their diligent efforts.
