Recent propaganda by the Afghan Taliban and certain international media outlets regarding a Pakistani airstrike in Kabul has been thoroughly debunked.

The Taliban claimed that Pakistan targeted the 2,000-bed Omid Hospital, but investigations and geo-location data have proven this assertion false. The Omid Hospital is located on Makroyan Road in Kabul and remains completely unharmed. In fact, the airstrike was directed at Camp Phoenix, a former NATO military base situated on the Kabul-Nangarhar Road.

Geo-location data reveals that there is a significant distance of 7.3 kilometres between the two locations, making any mistake highly unlikely. Additionally, recent satellite images confirm that the actual target was a military camp housing Taliban barracks and weapons depots.

With this evidence now available, it is evident that the claims of targeting the hospital were mere propaganda disconnected from the truth.
