ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced a major change in the CSS 2026 examinations for the benefit of candidates and to make the exam process less complicated.

According to media reports, newly introduced regulations envisage compulsory subjects being tested by one paper per day. In contrast, the earlier two papers were conducted on the same day. This decision will be operationally held till further instructions and serves the purpose of making the examination schedule more organized and manageable for the candidates.

The FPSC has mentioned that the schedule in detail for CSS 2026 shall be declared soon. Consequently, this modification is a significant move towards the whole process being more user-friendly, thus making it simpler not just for the candidates’ preparation but also for their participation.
