PESHAWAR: Four police personnel were injured when an improvised explosive device(IED) detonated near their vehicle on Ring Road, Peshawar, on Thursday.
Police sources said that the incident occurred near Qamar Din Garhi Chowak, the limit of the Bahana Mari Police station. The blast badly damaged a police vehicle and resulted in injuries to four police personnel on the spot. The injured personnel were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, for emergency medical treatment.
Doctors in Lady Reading Hospital said that the condition of the injured police personnel is stable and they would be discharged after getting necessary medical treatment.
