SAWABI: Four persons, including two women killed and five others critically injured when their vehicle went out of control of the driver near Hund River on Peshawar Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway.

Police said that the vehicle was going from Peshawar to Islamabad with nine people on board. As a result of the accident, two women and two men died on the spot, while three women, a man, and a child were seriously injured.

As soon as the incident was reported, the medical team of Rescue 1122 Swabi immediately reached the accident site. The rescue personnel provided first aid to the injured on the spot and later shifted them to Bacha Khan Hospital, where their treatment is ongoing. The bodies of the deceased have also been shifted to the hospital.

Local people and the ongoing vehicle going toward Islamabad stopped their vehicles and contributed to the relief activities. The family was travelling from Peshawar to Islamabad when they met with this tragic incident.

A few days ago, a similar incident also happened on the Hazara Motorway near Abbottabad, where six people were killed and several others were injured.
