LAKKI MARWAT (Ghulam Akbar): Four children from the same family were hospitalised after reportedly consuming poisonous food in the village of Nar Azad, a suburb of Sarai Naurang in Lakki Marwat.
According to Rescue 1122, all the affected children were young and were immediately taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Sarai Naurang for medical treatment.
Hospital sources indicate that the children are receiving necessary medical assistance, and efforts are being made to save their lives. Rescue officials confirmed that upon receiving the information, teams quickly arrived at the scene and transported the children to the hospital, where doctors are examining them.
The cause of the food’s toxic effects is still unclear; however, local authorities are investigating the incident.
