ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar welcomed Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad today, marking the beginning of important bilateral consultations.
The meetings focused on regional developments, including the evolving situation in Iran. They emphasized the importance of dialogue, de-escalation, and diplomatic coordination to achieve peace and stability in the region.
Upon his arrival, Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty was warmly received by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The two foreign ministers engaged in productive discussions aimed at strengthening Pakistan-Egypt bilateral relations and boosting economic cooperation. They also explored opportunities for further coordination on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan arrived in Pakistan to participate in the ongoing four-nation consultations. The discussions reaffirmed the strong ties between Pakistan and Turkey, with both sides committing to further deepening their bilateral relationship. Key issues of mutual concern, including regional security, were addressed, and both leaders reiterated their commitment to enhancing cooperation on all fronts.
