‎BUNER: Owner of flood damaged land in Buner said that despite the losses, of valuable agriculture land compensation has not been received yet.

‎They said that most of the time, the survey is completed by the revenue department Patwari and Tehsildar, but it takes time for the data to be uploaded to the PDMA or NADRA system.

‎The provincial government sometimes releases funds in phases, due to which compensation is given first for loss of life and then for houses, and finally for agricultural lands.

‎ Despite the lapse of four month since the survey.  No cheque or bank transfer has been received yet  while the next crop cannot be sown due to non-recovery of the land.

‎One of the resident of Buner Khair Muhammad said that he lost 15 acre of land due to flood as his land was situated on river bank.

‎He said that the bounder walls of the land demand million of rupees to protect it from the water and soil erosion.

‎He appealed early compensation and survey of the land to prevent further loss in agriculture sector.
