FKS has purchased the seventh team of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for Rs 175 crore and has chosen Hyderabad as the city.
The auction for the two new teams to be included in the PSL has officially begun. The auction process is underway at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad, where competition is taking place between different parties.
In the initial stage of the auction, a bid of Rs 175 crore was received for the seventh team of the PSL, which made the process more interesting. FKL bought the seventh team of the PSL for Rs 175 crore and has chosen Hyderabad as the name.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi gave a prize money of Rs 9 crore to the team that won the Rising Star Asia Cup. On this occasion, the winning team of Hong Kong Sixes was also given a prize of Rs 18.5 million.
It should be noted that after the former owner of Multan Sultans, Ali Tareen, withdrew from the auction process, a total of nine groups are now involved in this race. The two parties that succeed in the auction will be allowed to choose the names of their respective teams from Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad and Sialkot.
