RAWALPINDI: The National Savings Centre in Rawalpindi held the first draw of the Rs40,000 premium prize bond for the year 2026 on Tuesday.
The draw for the Rs 40,000 prize bond is held every three months, giving bondholders a chance to win big prizes.
The State Bank of Pakistan states that investors receive their investment returns twice a year according to federal government regulations. The profit starts from the bond’s issue date or the most recent profit payment date. In addition, investors who meet certain conditions are eligible for cash prizes in the quarterly draw.
Prize Details for Rs40,000 Bonds:
First Prize: Rs8 crore (one lucky winner)
Second Prize: Rs30 lakh (three winners)
Third Prize: Rs5 lakh (660 winners)
In Pakistan, prize bonds are considered a secure form of investment because the amount is secure, and the opportunity to win attractive cash prizes exists.

National savings sets schedule for premium prize bond draws
Earlier, there is good news for prize bond holders, as draws for several premium and regular prize bonds have been scheduled in March, offering an opportunity for financial gains.
According to sources, the draw for premium prize bonds worth Rs 25,000 will be held on March 10 in Multan, while the draw for premium bonds worth Rs 40,000 is scheduled for the same day in Rawalpindi.
Additionally, the draw for prize bonds worth Rs 200 will take place on March 16 in Faisalabad.
Officials said these draws provide an important opportunity for investors and the general public to earn additional financial benefits. Prize bond holders are advised to check their numbers and attend the draws to claim any winnings.
