Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain conveyed worry regarding the recent behavior of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) cautioning that if the party persists with its provocative remarks and activities the government might strongly contemplate the possibility of enforcing a ban.
He mentioned that when a provincial chief minister speaks of advancing towards Islamabad it constitutes an insurrection something the state cannot endure.
Rana Tanveer Hussain remembered that starting from 2014 the PTI founder has behaved in manners that jeopardize security. In demonstrations incidents such as setting fires, damaging property and not paying utility bills stood out as obvious acts of civil disobedience. Assaults on PTV and the Parliament were regarded as confrontations, against state power.
The federal minister highlighted that in contrast to PTI parties such, as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have consistently opposed each other’s policies through democratic channels thereby reinforcing the system instead of weakening it.
