ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the political and military leadership are united, and all national institutions are working in complete harmony.
During a cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that the entire nation is praying to Allah Almighty for an end to the ongoing conflict. He noted that hostile elements are attempting to create divisions among people, but Pakistan has achieved diplomatic success, for which he expressed gratitude to Allah.
The Prime Minister mentioned that the flames of war have been extinguished for two weeks, alleviating concerns that had spread globally. The Prime Minister paid tribute to the armed forces’ leadership, particularly Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, acknowledging his tireless efforts during this time.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif encouraged the nation and the government to recognize Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s contributions and to take pride in his service. He also expressed appreciation for the support from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, other Gulf countries, and the close ally China. Additionally, he thanked the leadership of Iran and the United States for their efforts in facilitating a ceasefire.
With our efforts, the flames of fire were extinguished for two weeks, while the flames of war engulfed the entire world. All of us political and military leaders are united in our commitment to establishing peace. Attempts were made to pit brothers against one another in conflict, and we have battled both internal and external conspiracies. The Deputy Prime Minister worked tirelessly with his team day and night to address these challenges.
The Prime Minister announced that, at his invitation, American and Iranian delegations will visit Pakistan for talks on Friday. He concluded by stating that managing the severe inflation crisis has not been an easy task.

The world has welcomed the Iran-US ceasefire agreement and praised Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating it. Several countries and world leaders, including Russia, the European Union, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Australia, have described this agreement as a significant breakthrough for peace.
The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council stated to Reuters that the agreement represents a victory for wisdom. Former Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni suggested that Pakistan deserves a Nobel Prize for its role in this progress.
