PESHAWAR: Federal Investigation Agency(FIA) arrested two accuses involved in Hawala business and recovered three million rupees from his possession.
Sources said that FIA Peshawar Zone carried out raid over suspected Hawala owner in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and arrested two persons having no licence. The arrested persons identified Babar Hussain and Inamullah. They recovered 31 million rupees from the possession of the arrested persons.
FIA also collected evidences from mobile devices from the accused persons while raids are being conducted to arrest the other accomplices of the accuses. Police also impounded the car used for business purpose of Hawala and Hundi.
The FIA has banned business of Hawla and Hundi in Peshawar and other parts of the country without proper licences of the security exchange commission of Pakistan. The people are of the view that getting licences from the state bank and security exchange commission of Pakistan need 200 million rupees which is impossible for low business holder to get these licences.
The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have appealed Prime Minister to make their business easy and reduce the security money for this Hundi and Hawala business. They said that people have been fed up due to unemployment and are being forced to commit crime.
