The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a government headmaster for falsely claiming to be needy and receiving money from the Benazir Income Support (BISP) Fund.
According to a statement issued by the FIA on its social pages, the accused, Sanaullah, had been wanted by the FIA since 2020.
Sanaullah was serving as the headmaster at Government Boys High School 50 EB Arifwala. A case against him was registered in the Composite Circle Multan in 2020, where he claimed to be impoverished and received financial assistance from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). Along with his wife, he fraudulently obtained Rs 96,000 from the BISP.

This fraudulent activity has caused significant damage to the national exchequer. Following his arrest, an investigation has been initiated, and actions are being taken against those involved in corruption and fraud. All resources are being utilised to apprehend the accused.
