KARACHI: The government of Sindh announced on Monday that March 3 and 4 will be observed as official holidays for the Hindu community in celebration of Holi.
Spokesperson Sukhdev Hemnani extended Holi greetings to the community, stating the provincial government’s commitment to religious freedom and minority rights. He stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party-led administration remains dedicated to promoting equal citizenship, inclusion, and interfaith harmony across Sindh.
On his recommendation, the Inspector General of Sindh Police has directed foolproof security arrangements at all Hindu places of worship and communal spaces.

In addition to the holiday announcement, provincial authorities have directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to implement foolproof security measures. These arrangements will cover all Hindu places of worship and communal spaces to ensure a safe celebratory environment.
