ISLAMABAD: A division of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), has thwarted an attempt to smuggle methamphetamine worth more than 18 billion rupees.
As per the statement released by the FBR officials, the drugs, about 300 kilograms of crystal ice meth, were concealed in the resuscitated fuel tank of a truck which was on a journey from Taftan to Quetta. The Collector Customs (Enforcement) Quetta intelligence led the operation in the Nushki area where the Field Enforcement Unit staff with the help of local police raided the place and confiscated the narcotics.
