LAHORE: Lahore saw a delightful event to celebrate the release of the first song from “Neelofar,” the Pakistani romantic film featuring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. The movie will be available in cinemas all over Pakistan from November 28, 2025.
Newly released song from the movie serves as its most emotional part, a lyrical and musical union that tells a love story beyond sight and words. It is the song which is Vicky Haider’s and the music of the song has been done by Zeeshan “Vicky” Haider and Shani Haider. During the launch event, some exclusive clips of the film were also shown, which has created a buzz among the people for the movie’s release.
Some of the most prominent figures who came to attend the event were Samiya Raheel, Zeb Bangash, Namir Khan, Mooroo, Ken Doll, Resham, and a bunch of celebrated designers, social personalities, and young creators who were resplendent in their attires as they walked the red carpet.
In Neelofar Fawad Khan is a writer while Mahira Khan is Neelofar, a blind woman. At the event, Fawad talking about the movie said, “Neelofar is a story that exists in the realm of emotions,” and went on to say, “This song is the core- the heartbeat- recapitulating it with everyone that trusts this journey was what tonight was all about.”
Mahira Khan felt that the film was her own caried a lot of emotional depth: “The audience’s emotional reaction tonight made me realize the main reason for making Neelofar love is the purest and most spiritual form which the story is based on.”

Neelofar, written and directed by Ammar Rasool, is a production of Ausaf Sharik. Fawad Khan and Hassan Khalid are executive producers. Besides the main actors, the cast comprises Atiqa Odho, Behroze Sabzwari, Madiha Imam, Sarwat Gillani, Gohar Rasheed, Faisal Qureshi, Samia Mumtaz, Rashid Farooqi, Chand Baral, Simi Raheel, Adeel Hashmi, Hira Tareen, and Naveed Shehzad.
