SWABI: A tragic incident occurred in the Yar Hussain area of Swabi when an old and dilapidated roof collapsed, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old child and leaving four others, including three women and another child, seriously injured. The deceased child has been identified as Ayan, aged 12. A 10-year-old child, along with three women aged 35, 40, and 61, suffered severe injuries and were rushed to Kalu Khan Hospital by rescue teams for immediate medical attention.
Rescue sources confirmed that the collapse was due to the poor condition of the roof, which had not been properly maintained for years. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident, but initial reports suggest the old structure may not have been able to withstand the weight, leading to this tragic accident.
