RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s opener Farhan Sahibzada, hit a massive milestone in T20 cricket as he became the first Pakistani batter to blast 100 sixes in one calendar year.
The area of enaction to this record was the Tri-Nation T20 Series match that took place in Rawalpindi on Saturday, where Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by a margin of 7 wickets with great ease.
In his excellent form with the bat, Farhan hammered the bowling attack with a 45-ball unbeaten 80 run knock and in the process, he hit five sixes. The aggressive batting of him enabled Pakistan to reach the target of 129 runs in just 16 overs.
