Chief Minister’s House under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Science Agenda organized Exhibition of high-end technology and product development at CM House Peshawar.
The project was aim to add value to natural resources through technology and economic development. Addressing on the occasion Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said that provincial government is working on emerging technologies in biomedicine and advanced materials.
He said Pakistan’s first project to produce artificial skin was presented today, Artificial skin for burn care was developed in collaboration with Pak-Austria Fakhr-Shoule University.
On this occassion Local PCR kits for Hepatitis BC, HIV and other diseases were exhibited, the project for PCR kits has been given to Khyber Medical University. Production of electric rickshaws under the e-rickshaw project will reduce fuel dependence.
Alternatives to explosives for mining and the use of liquid oxygen was also exhibited,Modern electrosurgical equipment and e-study card system for students were also exhibited. Through e-study card, students will have access to e-books, modern features and AI tutors. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is committed to innovation-based development and self-reliance.
