PESHAWAR: In a joint operation on Warsak Road, the Excise Intelligence Bureau, along with Excise police stations Peshawar and Khyber, busted a factory producing crystal meth (ice) and narcotic pills.
Officials also confiscated raw materials sufficient to ready 50,000 pills as well as over 500 narcotic pills that had been prepared and gotten ready for sale, along with 2,500 grams of crystal meth, equipment, and raw materials.
Authorities also stated that during the raid, three suspects were apprehended.
Preliminary investigations have suggested that the illicit drug factory was allegedly providing drugs to students and for private parties in the wealthy areas of the city.
The operation was jointly led by Saud Khan Gandapur provincial in-charge of Intelligence Bureau and Majid Khan ETO Narcotics Control with teams of Excise police stations in Peshawar and Khyber contributing.
