ISLAMABAD: Ex-CIA Counter-Terror Station Chief expresses shocking revelations regarding the Imran Khan Cypher statement and said that Imran Khan contacted the US ambassador before accusing the US of regime change.
Imran Khan told the ambassador that “I am going to accuse America” and sought assurance from America that no action would be taken against him. The American establishment positively accepted Imran Khan’s request; however, Pakistani Generals refused to accept the American recommendation in favor of Imran Khan.
He revealed that Imran Khan sent a message to Americans, “For God’s sake, save me.” The American establishment asked Jemima Goldsmith to contact Pakistan. However, Jemima’s recommendation was also rejected in Pakistan. The US counterterror chief claimed that Pakistani Generals no longer listen to the US.
The statement comes at a time when the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister runs a campaign for the release of incarcerated Party founder Imran Khan. These revelations will have serious repercussions for the PTI narrative that the PTI government has been toppled through a conspiracy of US regime change.
