PESHAWAR: International airline Etihad Airways on Monday resumed its services for Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar, Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) said.

Etihad Airways returned to Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport after a ten-year lapse, and today’s flight (EY276) from Abu Dhabi to Peshawar was the first since 2014. Pakistan Airport Authority said that Etihad Airways flight was welcomed with a traditional water salute. Etihad Airways will operate flight (EY277) from Peshawar to Abu Dhabi at 8:00 am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, PAA

This year, Etihad Airways is the third airline to start operations at Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar. Before FlyDubai, FlyAdeal had also started its services from Bacha Khan International Airport.

Pakistan Airports Authority said that these new flights will provide passengers with more choice and global connectivity.
